When a boiler is worth replacing rather than repairing
There is no age at which a boiler must be replaced, and we will not tell you there is. What matters is what it is doing now and what a repair costs against what it buys you.

Common questions
How long does a new boiler installation take?
A straight swap in the same position is usually a single day. Moving the boiler, changing the system type or replacing pipework can take two or three.
Do I need a powerflush with a new boiler?
Not always, but many manufacturers require a clean system for the guarantee to stand. We tell you before the quote, not after the job. See powerflushing.
What guarantee comes with a new boiler?
Up to 12 years, manufacturer-backed, on selected new gas boilers. The exact length depends on the model and is confirmed in the quote. Guarantees normally require an annual service to stay valid, and we will tell you that at the time rather than let you find out when you claim.
Which boiler brands do you install?
Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Viessmann, Vokera and Baxi. We are Worcester Bosch Accredited Installers, which is what allows the longer guarantees on their range.
Do you install LPG boilers?

Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. We do not take a deposit. We quote after seeing the job, the quote holds for 30 days and does not change once given, and you pay when the work is finished. The prices on this site are starting prices and include VAT.
